the Artist

My name is Sophie, and i am a local artist and qualified Beauty Therapist whose creative journey has evolved from working closely with people to expressing emotion and connection through art.

Creativity has always been apart of who i am. Alongside raising my two young children, i have dedicated the past few years to developing my art practice, using the pockets of time i have away from work and family to fully invest in my growth as an emerging artist.

My work is inspired by wildlife and figurative abstraction, and i primarily use acrylic to bring depth, movement, and feeling into each piece, creating pieces that reflect my love of detail, expression and the beauty found in everyday life. I am now excited to share my work more widely and connect with local galleries that champion independant artists.
